It is hard to believe, but this is now our 27th season at Britain's most remote and beautiful bay. Any questions - just ask. We welcome single travellers, dogs, children and grannies. If you have a very large dog (like the one who once ate through a bedroom wall) or if you have doubts over your dog's personal hygiene or odour, then perhaps he could sleep in the car. Grannies (however large or ferocious) can have a room.
We live in a mixture of the Old Manse and its stables and outbuildings. There are never more than 3 bedrooms in any section and a double and single can often be combined to make a family suite, with special rates, where you need not worry about children being tidy or disturbing anyone. That means you get to relax and enjoy your holiday.
Booking Conditions: When booking, can we have a deposit of £50 per adult. As you can see, we are very tiny. If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know as early as possible so that we can try to re-let the room. Late cancellation (within a month of arrival) will be charged at full Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate. Please protect yourself by booking ferries early (they do get booked up from March onwards - do not just turn up at the ferry!). Also, we suggest ordinary holiday insurance to protect against risks of extra work, illness in the family, and (car?) breakdown. Any booking will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these conditions.
We welcome those on special diets but reserve the right to charge £6 for extra cooking involved. We have had several 'vegetarians' in the evening order bacon, sausage and black pudding for breakfast! We may make a charge for any dinner needing much extra cooking if it turns out that the special diet is, like the WMD, a charade!
